HMV organised Fashionista-The Glam Show 2025
Fashionista Club, PG Department of Fashion Designing of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar organized Fashionista-The Glam Show 2025 successfully under the leadership of proficient Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen.The Chief Guest of the event Ms. Harmilan Kaur Bains, Gold Medalist Athlete and the Guest of Honour Dr.Jasleen, CEO, Orthonova Hospital were accorded a warm welcome by Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. The event witnessed the gracious presence ofJustice (Retd.) Sh. N.K. Sud, Vice President DAVCMC and Chairman of Local Committee alongwith his wife Mrs. Arunima Sud, First Lady of the city Mrs. Shweta Dhir, Dr. Pooja Kapoor from Kapoor Hospital, Mrs. Sonia Aggarwal &CEO Evergreen Publications Mrs. Ronita. The other esteemed guests of the event who made their presence in this majestic show were Sh. Ajay Goswami, Secretary DAVCMC and members of LAC Sh. Ashok Paruthi, Sh. S. P. Sehdev, Dr. Sushma Chawla, Sh. Kundan Lal Aggarwal, Dr. Sudhir Sharma, Dr. Pawan Gupta along with Mrs. Sunita Sud and Mrs. Nargis Sud. All the guests were warmly welcomed with presenting them a green planter. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen welcomed all the guests, sponsors, Media partners, Radio partners, local committee, Designers, Show stopper and thanked them to come at HMV. Principal Sareen said that the prime endeavour of this Glam Show is to motivate young female buds and encourage women empowerment so that they could face any sort of challenge in their life with boldness and mettle. Further, she said, it the prime objective of the college to provide placement to young girls so that they can be independent and seek a bright career in their life. Moreover, Dr. Sareen inspired the students and said that they should not to be a job seeker but a job provider. Further, Madam Principal Dr. Sareen congratulated Mrs. Navneeta, Programme Coordinator of this Glam Show and Mrs. Rishav the Organising Secretary from fashion designing department for organizing such a successful event. Students from the department of fashion designing presented beautiful dresses and captivated the audience. Justice (Retd.) Sh. N.K. Sud, in his speech, blessed one and all who were present over there and congratulated the principal of the college, and the whole staff for organizing such a peculiar event. In addition to it, he said, fashion designing is such sort of subject with the help of which students can be independent in their life. Moreover, Justice Sud hoped for a bright future of students. This Fashionista was organized in ten rounds in which students and teachers engaged all by wearing different colorful attires and presenting them on the ramp. Various colourful dresses were presented by Show Stopper roundslike Darbare Rang, with maroon and golden colour theme of Mughal Era, Whispers of Spring with floral dresses, Timeless Contrast inspired by Victorian Era, Powerpack with red office wear, Wild Child round, Gulabi Noor with ethnic wear of dusky pink and golden colour, Lace & Legacy with Victorian inspired evening gowns, Sands of Nubia inspired by the Egyptian Era, & Hari Milan round inspired by Lord Krishna.At the end of the event, guests also walked on the ramp and increased the charm of the show. Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen presented a token of love towards the chief guests and sponsors of the event. The stage was successfully conducted by Dr. Anjana Bhatia. All the teaching and Non-teaching staff was present on this fantastic Fashionista-The Glam Show.
